Media Noise....

I Introduce to you Ben Hamburger, Maryland born but is currently attending Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.The paintings are about how the media impact on society. Artist notes will be under each painting.

This first painting of the series is a cathartic theory stating that media violence influences real life violence but does not trigger it.


The hypodermic needle theory saying that messages in media are directly injected into our minds with out our discretion.


This is the desensitizing theory saying that we are desensitized to real life violence because of the media

On a more serious note.....this Friday April 17th come out and celebrate Echo Boom's album release party for "NO MORNING IN MIND" at club Heaven and Hell in Adams Morgan. They will be playing the album and then they will hit the stage to perform the whole cd. Their is a five dollar cover with that you get a free entry to the raffle that includes free drink giveaways, free tickets to the upcoming Mambo Sauce/ E.B. show, free CDs and more . The event begins at 8 p.m. and it will be 21 and older.

Bring your friends, friends....come see a lot hard work paying off as these dudes have been on the grind for some time now. They never fail to put on a great show, since day one they bring great energy and good music.

DJ Yona....

Dj Yona is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland but moved down to Greensboro, NC in 2004 to attend Guilford College. He has been on the grind taking his love for music to a new level by becoming a DJ. He first began doing private parties for Guilford College to eventually landing his own spot on Faderwave Radio. His style consisted of hip-hop and top 40 but has recently recognized that he needs to explore new sounds such as electronic dance music including, House, Baltimore Club, and Dub Step, that has helped him get recognition
throughout the Triad area.
